Through our partnership with AmeriCorps, we enhance the capacity of organizations working to build healthier communities.

 
 
 

AmeriCorps Volunteers help build healthier and more resilient communities.

Up to 23 volunteers and two leaders are placed within organizations and programs working to build healthier communities. AmeriCorps Volunteers support PHI programs and community-based partner organizations working at the front lines of far-reaching and innovative efforts.

Our Healthier Community Partner Programs

  • Leadership Academy for the Public's Health

    This adaptive leadership training program gives individuals and teams the skills to assess and address complex real-world issues, build cross-sector partnerships, and advance community health.

  • FACES for the Future Coalition

    Through this program, AmeriCorps members will serve with designated Public Health Youth Corps sites in California to provide support services in high needs areas, including peer education and wraparound support services related to vaccine hesitancy and barriers to vaccine administration.
