In recent years, countless new synthetic drugs have entered the drug supply, and various theories are posited for changes in overdose death rates. Join us on Monday, May 5, from 11:30 – 12:30 pm PT to hear from Dr. Nabarun Dasgupta, a scientist and activist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who focuses on overdose epidemiology and prevention. He will explore why novel psychoactive substances and new markets have emerged in recent years and break down recent overdose data trends and gaps.
