ABOUT AMERICORPS VISTA HUB
Building capacity for public health policy, programs, and practice
The AmeriCorpsVISTA Hub, managed by PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI), places AmeriCorps VISTA members across California to address overdose prevention and build healthy communites. Our experience and success managing programs with a large geographical reach and diverse population has allowed us create a template for regional success.*

AmeriCorps VISTA members serve in time-limited roles supporting local overdose prevention coalitions and healthy community initiatives.
Members support 26 organizations across California providing capacity building services, including:
Community outreach
Health education
Youth engagement
Fundraising and grant writing
Volunteer recruitment
Marketing and communications support
Data analysis and program coordination
“I am very thankful for the opportunity to work with government officials and develop and organize and implement an Opioid Awareness Summit, as well as speak publicly and change Naloxone policies for over 125 high school and middle school campuses in my region.”
