Karlene Kuhn, MS

Karlene Kuhn is a Program Manager for the AmeriCorps VISTA Hub at PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI), where she oversees program operations for one of the nation's largest AmeriCorps VISTA intermediary programs. Her work focuses on program strategy, federal grants management, partnerships, member recruitment and support, and strengthening workforce development pathways through national service.

Prior to joining CHLI, Karlene served in AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps and held leadership roles in nonprofit organizations focused on mental health, volunteer engagement, and community capacity building. Across her career, she has developed expertise in civic engagement, service year programming, and designing collaborative initiatives that strengthen organizations and expand opportunities for communities to thrive.

Karlene holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University–Shreveport and a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University.
