Karlene Kuhn, MS

Karlene Kuhn is the AmeriCorps VISTA Hub Supervisor at PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact. Karlene manages the recruitment, placement, and oversight of over 60 AmeriCorps VISTA members addressing overdose prevention and the impacts of COVID-19 for the largest AmeriCorps VISTA program in California and the Western Region.

Prior to joining CHLI, Karlene served two terms as an AmeriCorps member and a term in the Peace Corps. She has her bachelor’s in human development and family studies from Michigan State University and her Master of Science in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University - Shreveport. Outside of work, Karlene enjoys volunteering with Friends of the Library and exploring her community in Northern Michigan.
