Amy Max, MPH

Amy Max, MPH, is a Senior Program Manager at the PHI Center for Health Leadership and Impact (CHLI) where she oversees the design, strategy and continuous quality improvement of multiple public health programs and initiatives. She currently manages operations for CHLI’s overdose prevention portfolio including an annual Accelerator program for local overdose coalitions and the National Overdose Prevention Network (NOPN), which provides training, resources and learning opportunities to more than 6,000 leaders nationwide. She also helps administer career pathway programs for entry-level professionals including a public health residency program and the largest AmeriCorps VISTA sponsorship in California. Prior to joining Public Health Institute Amy served as a Public Health Prevention Service Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and received her MPH from Columbia University, where she was a Rosenfield Scholar in Population and Family Health.
