Rachel Fogleman
Rachel Fogleman, CHES®, is the PHIG Program Coordinator for PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI). In this role, Rachel contributes to the organization, coordination, and goal execution of CHLI and its workforce programs, including the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) Region 9 Hub and the Wester Regional Public Health Training Center.
Rachel has over ten years of experience working in public health. Prior to joining CHLI, she worked for the HRSA-funded Midwest AIDS Training + Education Center providing workforce development and capacity building training and technical assistance to healthcare providers working with patients living with or at risk for HIV. They also worked for local health departments in Indiana on public health education programming, accreditation, public communications, and grant management.
Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in health science from Ball State University and a Graduate Certificate in Medical Management from the IUPUI Kelley School of Business. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist through NCHEC and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. They are also active members of the Indiana chapters of the American Public Health Association and Society for Public Health Education.
