Monica Hernandez
Monica Hernandez is a Program Administrator for PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact (CHLI), and her role focuses on fiscal and grants management within all CHLI programs.
Monica brings 15 years of well-rounded experience in non-profit and state government organizations. Most recently, Monica was a Regional Manager of Community Partnerships at a statewide health equity foundation where she worked with multi-sector coalitions and communities to address social determinants of health inequities and systems change strategies. Her comprehensive experience gives her a unique perspective on equity initiatives and community-based work both as a grantmaker within a foundation setting, as well as a grantee working for various non-profit organizations.
Outside of work, Monica’s biggest joy is her family. She enjoys traveling with them and getting outdoors for camping adventures to explore national parks. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Colorado State University.
