With more frequent and intense natural disasters, such as flooding, extreme heat events, and severe storms, addressing the health risks associated with these events is critical. Laws and policies can impact how communities plan for climate change and can assist in the development of resilience plans to protect public health.  Join us for an overview of the public health implications of climate change and the role of laws and policies in reducing the associated health risks.
